I was one of the first designers for the Web. I was one of two designers who worked on the Global Network Navigator (GNN), the first commercial Web site, I began online design early in 1993. Since then, I've remained active and visible in the online publishing world. My specialties currently include:

complete site planning and organization
interface and navigational systems
identity design; creating a site's "look & feel"
web graphics production, with a particular interest in minimizing download times
keeping current with emerging technologies
strong knowledge of HTML & familiarity with Javascript solutions


Bluecar.com
This is a electronic magazine that publishes unique articles about the Boston area. Each article is embellished by an original photographic collage. The collage in some instances is animated using java or gif animation.

New Design for Youth Development
This is a non-profit organization focusing on youth and community. The website is a supplement to the quarterly magazine. The goal is to increase awareness of the organization as well as accessibility to information.

Synthesis Architects
This site is currently in development. The site confirms there commitment to utilize technology to further their marketing strategy and provide customer service not possible before the advent of the web.

Global Network Navigator (GNN)
This magazine and information service published by O'Reilly & Associates, Inc. was later bought by America Online. It is no longer in publication.

Senior Technical Illustrator and Information Designer

O'Reilly & Associates is a publisher of internet and technical books. I was hired initially as a technical illustrator. As O'Reilly became more involved in the internet my responsibilities grew to include electronic media. I was one of two designers to work on the Global Network Navigator (GNN). With its premier issue published early in 1993, GNN was the first commercial site on the Web.
